Purpose and goal

We have met the purpose and goal of inventing, manufacturing and selling a prototype of an innovative musical playground equipment where music, playing, motion energy and new technology are combined into a brand new product. The prototype is a combination of motion energy from the user who, through mechanical and technical solutions, generates audio / music / light.

Expected results and effects

We have developed a prototype for a musical playground equipment that is an accessory to existing playground equipment in public and private playgrounds. The product provides a renewal of the range of musical playground equipment available on the market. An increase of users: play and movement along with others, innovative thinking about how the musical playground equipment works, thoughts about the combination of aesthetics and mechanics / technology. The prototype or a version of it becomes a product that will be able to be marketed and sold by us together with a playground company.

Planned approach and implementation

The layout of the project over a year turned out to be good. All work packages became more time-consuming and demanded more working hours from us. Consultancy assignments that were planned to be done by someone outside our company had to be solved by us. It was time-consuming and other upcoming projects had to wait. After the end of this project we have more to do. Ex, transform the prototype into a product together and in cooperation with the customer. After good contact with a playground company, we are now positive about phase 2, manufacturing and marketing the finished product.
