Important results from the project
This project aims to promote knowledge exchange between MDH and ABB, leading to new research collaboration in applying machine learning in power devices and power systems.
Expected long term effects
The project developed conceptual idea and proposal of applying machine learning techniques in management and services of power network systems, which will result in new research cooperation between MDH and ABB. The activities for knowledge dissemination include lectures of MDH researcher at ABB as well as guest lectures by ABB researchers at MDH.
Approach and implementation
Knowledge exchange between MDH and ABB researchers has been performed through regular meetings, email communication, as well as invited and guest lectures. The project has been successfully implemented with three stages: 1) deep domain study; 2) concept development; 3) proposal writing
