Important results from the project

Aim and objective of the project was to enable a secure and scalable sharing of health data between entitled parties in a production environment. The project has involved close collaboration with the customer to ensure that the functionality corresponds to the customer´s needs and that the security requirements are met. Leyr´s platform is now ready to be used in a production environment to be able to share health data between eligible parties.

Expected long term effects

The result of the project has meant that Leyr has been able to build a platform for sharing health data in a secure and scalable way. The platform maintains high quality in terms of functionality and security that can be used by several customers and that we have the opportunity to establish ourselves in the market. The developed functionality corresponds to a need shared by many customers on the market both in Sweden and internationally.

Approach and implementation

The project is based on a market analysis that was carried out before the project was started. The market´s needs for the proposed solution, eligibility requirements regarding regulations and security as well as the sustainability of the business model were then analysed. After that, the platform´s functionality has been planned and built based on what creates the most value initially and how the functionality is expanded afterwards.
