Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to develop a scalable production method for the IV-bracelet wristband and to perform market and regulatory investigations for the produkt IV-bracelet. The objective fulfillment was very good for the investigations, but for the production method, the developed concept did not reach the desired degree of scalability in terms of production speed.
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in a production method for IV-bracelet wristband that works on a larger scale than what Medow had at the beginning of this project and learnings that will be put to good use in the development of a new and even more scalable concept for the production method. The project has also resulted in better market knowledge, that the product IV-bracelet is CE-marked under MDR and that Medow´s quality management system is ISO 13485: 2016 certified.
Approach and implementation
Medow has brought in consulting assistance from several consultants during the project to steer Medow in the right direction in the various project parts and to develop and realize the production concept. Beyond this, Medow has done all the work. Medow believes that this has been a good approach that has led to a large and meaningful increase of the internal knowledge within Medow.
