ISO meetings in Sweden 2025

Purpose and goal

Sweden has been given the opportunity to arrange standardization meetings for the ISO committee of nanotechnology, including on 2D materials. The purpose of the project is to prepare and host the conference and thereby strengthen Sweden´s influence internationally in the standardization of Nanotechnology.

Expected effects and result

At the end of the project, we have held an ISO conference in Sweden with strong Swedish participation. More people in the ecosystem will have a better understanding of the standardization process and we will have influenced more upcoming standards. The implementation of the ISO meetings facilitates strong Swedish participation and strengthens Sweden´s status in international cooperation.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into three work packages. Work package 1, includes implementation of ISO conference and seminar with focus on Swedish industry and research in Nanotechnology. Work package 2, includes, Pre- and post-work in connection with the ISO conference with the following activities. Examples are coordination meetings, coordination and email exchange internally and externally with ISO. Work package 3, includes, coordination between the work packages, SIS and reporting to Vinnova.
