Important results from the project

Yes, the project goals were successfully achieved. The planned ISO conference was held in Stockholm, Sweden on May 19–23 with excellent results and strong Swedish participation. The conference was very well received by both Swedish and international participants and contributed to an increased understanding of the standardization process within nanotechnology and 2D materials. It has also contributed to strengthening Sweden´s international position in the field of nanotechnology

Expected long term effects

In the long term, this project is expected to contribute to strengthening Sweden’s influence in the development of ISO standards within nanotechnology and 2D materials. This, in turn, is anticipated to enhance Sweden’s innovation capacity and competitiveness, and promote fair and efficient trade.

Approach and implementation

The project was planned in close collaboration with Chalmers Industriteknik. It consisted of three work packages: Package 1 – Implementation of the ISO conference and seminar Package 2 – Preparatory and follow-up activities related to the conference Package 3 – Overall coordination of the project. The project followed the timeline and the collaboration worked very well.
