Important results from the project

Through the work and achieved project results, the opportunity to establish a sustainable process for fish farming based on an industrial symbiosis between a pulp farm and land-based aquaculture has become concrete and real for all parties involved. The goal fulfillment for the project is accomplished.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** All specified results are achieved. Agreements and permits required for establishment are defined. Business plan and investment costs are validated and developed for future investors. Locations and optimizations of process conditions and size of fish farming are specified. Informative website is communicated and new partners are contacted. Information about Big Akwa is communicated through titles such as this year´s Game Changer and Impact maker in Venture Cup. With great probability, the expected effect will be fulfilled in post project phase.

Approach and implementation

The project´s four work packages have been implemented in parallel during the project period. A) Business model validation B) Evaluation (Modeling and analysis) C) Communication (Network and visibility) and D) Project management. All work packages have had clear expected deliveries and funding for the project´s objective. The work has therefore developed very well and is completed according to plan.
