Important results from the project
Devair is developing a tool for automatic adjustment of ventilation, which significantly reduces installation costs and increases indoor climate quality. With the help of Vinnova´s funding, the technology has been demonstrated to several stakeholders in the industry, the business model has been further developed and validated, new channels have been tested and a pilot project has been carried out with very promising results. We can now continue to build on this foundation and are confident that we will establish a strong brand within the industry.
Expected long term effects
The project has led to several collaborations where we have validated both technology and business model while the brand is being established in the area. A flexible pricing model is now being developed to meet customers´ needs and our beachhead market has been identified. Another master thesis in collaboration with ALTEN and Linköping University has been initiated where we have spread knowledge about both climate goals and the need for our product. The pilot project was more successful than we could have hoped for and has made us confident that we are targeting the right market.
Approach and implementation
Due to current circumstances in the world, physical fairs and meetings have been canceled, but we have still managed to meet and demonstrate the product to stakeholders, which ultimately led to a successful pilot project. We will build on this and use it as a reference project for future work. Devair is still a member of the incubator LEAD and has received coaching throughout the project, which has been valuable in terms of developing business and pricing models.
