Purpose and goal
The project will establish a long-term sustainable national IoT cluster with regional nodes, built on experiences from IoT World since 2016. By bringing together the public sector, business and academia, the platform will strengthen collaboration, spread good examples and create new partnerships. The focus is on innovation, sustainability, equality and international competitiveness.
Expected effects and result
A strong national IoT ecosystem with local nodes and a common national hub for coordination and international issues. The cluster will drive IoT issues, support standardization and internationalization, and strengthen Sweden´s position internationally in the IoT area. The result will be increased competitiveness, more business opportunities and long-term sustainable development.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is led by Linköping Science Park with RISE, LiU, Region Östergötland, and regional nodes in several counties. The work includes the establishment of nodes, national coordination, communication, equality efforts, international visibility and standardization work. Through events, workshops and networking, collaboration, knowledge dissemination and innovation within IoT are strengthened.
