Important results from the project
iGrant.io - is created out of a recognition that enabling trust and transparency between organizations and their consumers will create a more efficient data sharing economy. Providing a secure and trustworthy means of sharing personal data will encourage users to share their personal data while exercising control over how that information is used. With this project we set out to be first to market with a cloud based consent management platform helping organizations to be compliant to data regulation in a cost effective manner and a tool for individuals to know what they have said yes to.
Expected long term effects
November 6, 2018, iGrant.io was successfully launched at the annual tech event, Websummit, in Lisbon. We achieved our target of being first to market with a cloud based consent management solution. Since the launch, we have signed service agreements with three customers and initiated discussions with three channel partners. In the first quarter 2019, we step up our customer acquisition activities primarily in Europe, US and India. During 2019 we expect to recruit 10-15 new team members and cement our leading position in digital consent management and data sharing.
Approach and implementation
Since the start of the project, May 2018, we have; - trademarked iGrant.io & filed one patent - developed a SaaS portal for businesses and an iOS/Android app for consumers - demonstrated our solution to more than 200 potential customers, media and investors - established a 24/7 support and maintenance org to cater for early trials - validated our pricing - and market strategy with regards to regulatory compliance - published three white papers targeting CXO, DPO and consumers - demonstrated iGrant.io at two industry fairs, WebSummit and Slush, and at the Nordic RegTech meetUp
