Important results from the project

The goal of the project has been to build collaborations and companies and develop sustainable business ideas in the logistics area, where we believe that our actuator innovation can offer solutions to sometimes central problems. Furthermore, to find interesting potential customers and partners, who are actors in the logistics industry, in the segments timber, truck and agricultural logistics. Especially with actors who have long experience of problem solving and product development. Furthermore, to get them involved in the development work of the actuator in these segments.

Expected long term effects

Contacts have been established with national actors in the timber truck and construction vehicle sector and in-depth cooperation has been initiated with companies. An informative website has been developed (flexrow.com) where our actuator technology and its applications are presented. E HILA actuator has been designed with a focus on cost efficiency. A detailed 3D-printed plastic model of the actuator has been manufactured for demonstration.

Approach and implementation

A large survey has been made of different types of truck transportation and how energy-efficient transportation and reloading of containers and vans can take place with our actuator technology. Further identification of suitable partners. Several constructive telephone meetings have been held with national actors in the logistics sector. A large number of variants of HILA actuator design have been studied with regard to standards, regulations, cost, performance, etc. Studies of suitable subcontractors have been carried out.
