Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Objective step 2: Expansion and product development. Fundrella supports professional investors to find funds that match their ESG requirements. Fund companies receive competitor and client insight. The goal of Step 2 was to expand outside the Nordic region and to develop an institutional version of the tool. The European market has been mapped and a needs analysis has been made. The pandemic led to a changed strategy with more focus on product development, which led to continued growth. The company´s processes have been improved to support expansion.
Expected long term effects
Fundrella offers a tool for professional investors to simplify ESG analysis, fund selection and reporting. Fundrella allows them to see how well funds meet their specific ESG requirements, to enable informative and responsible investments. Fund companies may access tailored competitor and client insight to understand ESG demands to help them improve their products. Fundrella offers increased transparency which supports the movement of capital into more climate-neutral and responsible companies, also contributing to the EU 2030 SDGs.
Approach and implementation
- All EU regions have been mapped to see which professional investors and fund companies are active in the regions to reach the right target group and a needs analysis has been completed. - New quarterly report launched which gives fund companies a 360 understanding of the ESG market incl. an ESG Alignment Matrix that shows how well funds meet Nordic investors´ ESG preferences. The development led to increased interest among global fund companies to join Fundrella. The growth required more structured processes; an operations manager and analyst intern were therefore hired in September.
