Important results from the project
FluoLink is a startup company that works on a laser based system for medical purposes. The project, e.g. Vinnovas funding, has helped FluoLink very much to take the first step successfully towards commercialization of it´s product.
Expected long term effects
The prototype can be used for demonstration and investigation for further development.
Approach and implementation
The project focussed on several areas. For once customer feedback to gain insight how the product should be modified for commercialization. This proofed to be a very constructive exercise. In order to comply with medical device regulations, vital elements of a quality system have been created. Following a fixed and approved procedure helps to avoid mistakes and saves time.... Building prototypes. This exercise was important to understand technical challenges and to specify the system components.
