Important results from the project

The project resulted in a working pilot for supporting sustainable finance investment decisions. The system extracts relevant data from multiple sources, links each data point back to its origin, and performs consistent checks and recommendations with clear traceability. The pilot was tested together with our pilot partner and provided valuable validation of the product, user workflow, and path toward commercial use.

Expected long term effects

The project has strengthened the basis for scaling the solution beyond the initial sustainable-finance use case. The same approach can support other highly regulated workflows where traceability, consistency and documented evidence are important. The experience of developing and testing the solution with a large organization has also improved our understanding of customer needs, deployment requirements and how the product can be adapted for broader commercial use.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out as a co-design pilot with a large financial institution. Requirements were developed through workshops with analysts, followed by iterative development and testing within their workflow. The pilot was designed to fit existing working processes while keeping implementation requirements lightweight. The final system was tested end-to-end by analysts in their investment workflow.
