Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a digital Material and Waste Management Plan that enables data-driven and circular handling of residual materials in the construction sector. The goal is to provide property owners and contractors with tools to set requirements, monitor progress, and optimize reuse, recycling, and waste management in line with sustainability frameworks such as CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
Expected effects and result
The project will deliver a tested prototype and a scalable process for digital material management. Expected impacts include increased circularity, reduced waste, and improved climate data. Property owners gain stronger control towards net-zero targets, contractors reduce costs, and society benefits from enhanced resource efficiency and sustainable competitiveness.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be carried out through five work packages: needs assessment, process design, digital prototype, pilot verification, and business development. Led by Collecct in close collaboration with property owners and contractors, the work follows an iterative approach with continuous testing and feedback loops to ensure relevance, usability, and quality throughout all phases.
