Important results from the project
With the contribution from Vinnova we have succeeded in: (1) performing a solid market analysis in several European countries (2) adapted the system and the solution for the British market (3) adapted the platform for a larger customer volume and created flows that enables automatic customer intake and self-boarding.
Expected long term effects
(1) With the market analysis we were able to get a clear plan for what markets to expand to and get a good picture of our potential in Europe. We were also able to create a more credible dialogue with investors, which resulted in us closing our first round of financing in March 2020. (2) We have been able to create a dialogue with a number of English dental chains despite covid-19. The goal is to be able to start some pilot projects in the UK during the spring of 2021. (3) The solution is well adapted for larger customer volumes and self-onboarding, which was launched in mid-August 2020.
Approach and implementation
During the autumn of 2019 and the spring of 2020, we suffered from the fact that some people in the project chose to change jobs, plus that it took more time to carry out parts 1 and 3 than planned in the project. Despite the fact that it was well spent time that created great value despite the fact that it took more resources than planned. Also Covid-19 affected the implementation because we were laid off during the summer, plus some stakeholders in the projects could not carry out their parts on time, which pushed the time schedule.
