Purpose and goal
The project´s objective is to develop 2D materials as a the Swedish industrial area of strength by supporting both competence development and the development of industrially accepted standards.
Expected effects and result
The project creates opportunities to: - Finance Master theses working with graphene and 2D materials with an industrial orientation. This both promotes education and helps the organizations investigate opportunities in the area. - Fund some standardization work. New standards are needed to take new materials and technologies from the lab to large-scale industry. The project enables SMEs to influence future standards.
Planned approach and implementation
The program office will organize open calls where it is possible to apply for funds for Master theses and for participation in national and international standardization work.
