Important results from the project
The project´s objectives were met. We had to spend more resources than originally planned on product development, after an initial evaluation by the customer. Within the project time-frame, we managed to enhance the product features for a new evaluation round with customers. This second round resulted in closer collaboration with a customer which will hopefully help us expand in the fall of 2026.
Expected long term effects
The project has contributed to the fact that we now have a first product to launch, we have a clear plan for continued product development, and a clear plan for how to build our first production line in Lindesberg. We have technology and raw material suppliers lined up and have initiated cooperation with them. The customer evaluations have generated new knowledge/insights that have helped us refine our business model, and helped us find new global potential customers.
Approach and implementation
The project was designed to evaluate the product with the customer, collect feedback from the customer and the customer´s customer, and then modify the product for a new iteration with customers. We spent more resources on product development after an initial evaluation by the customer. The product did not meet the requirements, but during the project we managed to improve the product features for a new round of evaluations. This second round has resulted in deeper collaboration with customers.
