Purpose and goal

The purpose of this pre-study is to generally increase the understanding of how electrified vehicles best fit the prosumers ecosystem, consisting of a number of interoperable systems, and identify ongoing activities and initiate new research projects to build knowledge and prepare the implementation of such smart ecosystems. The aim of the preliminary study is to have achieved some results, such as to develop scenarios for the prosumers´ and vehicle manufacturers´ finances, describe use cases and a plan for how these can be verified, as well as create one or more project proposals.

Expected results and effects

Expected effects of the pre-study are that after further research and development: - Strengthens the Swedish automotive industry´s competitiveness by combining electrified vehicles and connectivity, thereby providing attractive features. - Promoting cross-border cooperation. - Promotes collaboration between industry, universities, colleges and institutes.

Planned approach and implementation

The pre-study is an exploratory study. Usually a few people are asked, maybe just a group of experts in the field. The working method that has been applied is that two specialists from each party per technology area, together with their closest employees, analyze how the car is affected by the concept solution. Joint workshops and meetings have created consensus and shared understanding of issues. The result of the preliminary study has been strengthened through workshops and interviews with external parties from the electrical industry.
