An intelligent E-service for deputies

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project has been to concretise our idea of an e-service for deputies. An idea that has built on unlocking the possibilities of digitalisation for efficiency and increased legal certainty. We have also had the goal of developing a prototype, our business model and our knowledge of the market and potential competitors. Another goal has been to develop a strategy to protect our idea and our intangible assets. Innovative Startups 1 has helped us to come significantly further in all the areas we have had as a goal to achieve, and we have more than achieved the project´s purpose.

Expected results and effects

The project has confirmed the need to develop an intelligent e-service that puts the legal certainty of principals in focus, which streamlines the administrative tasks of the Deputy representatives and gives the transfer-coins a continuous transparency and control of Management of the principals ´ finances. During the project, we have developed a clear picture of a future solution and its functions. In close cooperation with a municipal organization, we will complete the development work in the autumn of 2019 and expect a market introduction in December 2019.

Planned approach and implementation

We planned to conduct a number of workshops with deputies and Chief Guardians during the first two months of the project. Despite positive advance rulings, for various reasons, they did not proceed at the time of the project. The project time coincided with the scrutiny period, as we should have anticipated. We therefore chose to start with written analysis material, interviews and personal experience as deputy. However, it entailed a time and cost saving that we used for other design work, which has taken the development further than expected.
