Important results from the project
The project reached the goal of developing solutions which enable the Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to the efficiency of Additive Manufacturing. The developments became possible because of the collaboration between academical organisations via prolonged study visit. It established a fruitful environment where different experts from both AM and AI collaborated to develop new approaches that eventually will be published and presented on the conference.
Expected long term effects
Approach and implementation
The project was designed to enable the nine weeks study visit between academical organisations. The study visit took place during the sixth month of the project which was one year long. The delay allowed to establish a communication between organisations and manage a formal agreements to enable a collaboration. During a study visit, the visiting researcher followed all routings of the hosting organisation to get needed experience and reach project goals during the exchange.
