Purpose and goal

Addressya has, during the project, built and evaluated prototypes for business profiles and address quality verification, for the best method to determine location by GPS, and our new product concept for business intelligence. Furthermore, automatic collection of user behaviour data measures growth stimulation behaviour in the app. The project has also given us other valuable insights that will influence the business and product development in a positive way.

Expected results and effects

Addressya has created and demonstrated prototypes for business profiles and address quality verification, to demonstrate business value with clients in East Africa. APIs built outside the project are being used by some clients to create their own solutions based on Addressya APIs. User behaviour in the app and APIs can be measured automatically. A first map literacy test has been made. A product concept for business intelligence was presented.

Planned approach and implementation

The work was carried out in Stockholm and with our clients and endusers in Rwanda and Uganda which enriched the project considerably. All work on the prototypes was delayed when the UXer left, and we reorganised our work so we could catch up again when the new one joined. During the project a strategic decision not to charge our customers in 2019 was taken.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
