Important results from the project

Compared to the project description, the project delivered to a high degree. The project delivered a work process, a digital platform, all training, insight services for strategic management, immersive deep dive sessions, learning labs, innovation capability mapping a new business model. The innovation platforms and the climate-neutral cities themselves decided to what degree they wanted to take part in Accelerera´s offer, which resulted in the participation from each city varying. The pandemic meant that some deliveries, e.g. on-site activities in the cities, was cancelled

Expected long term effects

The consortium carried out the project with aim of being an important enabler for today´s and future municipal projects to obtain a significantly enhanced capacity for transformative innovation. The impact goal is for the cities to obtain a significantly increased ability to transition. The project has worked actively for the impact goals to be reached, for example, by creating a scalable digitized product that can be quickly rolled out in many cities The project has also worked on introducing new elements such as AI into the service in order to create long-term effects in innovative ways

Approach and implementation

Covid-19, with associated restrictions, has had a major impact on the project. The situation from the pandemic meant that the project had to change its plans, production methods, execution and tools. At the same time as consortia parties quickly needed to change their plans and approach to how collaboration and co-creation would be implemented. The pandemic offered great challenges and great opportunities in the delivery of the project, as neither the consortium´s project parties nor the climate-neutral cities and the innovation platforms could meet other than in the digital space.
