** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** With this project, the association Säkerhets- och försvarsföretagen (SOFF) together with the authority Försvarets materielverk and the companies BAE Systems (Bofors and Hägglunds); GKN Aerospace Sweden and Saab AB have produced materials to facilitate the transition to a circular and sustainable defense industry in the future.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Projekt Grön Omställning (PGO) contributes to increased knowledge by showing how companies can meet opportunities and challenges to accelerate their transition to a circular and climate-neutral industry. The basis can be used as a basis for strengthening companies´ competitiveness on the global market and at the same time work for Swedish security of supply with resource-efficient and resilient value chains.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has consisted of four work packages: an investigative one aimed at mapping obstacles and driving forces for a changeover, a solution-oriented one aimed at formulating solutions to identified obstacles and opportunities, one that delved into the issue of sustainable procurement and finally one aimed at to compile and report how proposed solutions can be realized in each organization and in the industry as a whole.
