Who can apply?

The call is aimed at larger international consortia with a broad range of actors within health and life sciences: industry, universities, research institutes, the public sector, civil society and small and medium-sized enterprises in/outside Europe.

How much can you apply for?

The requested amount depends on the selected topic, as well as how the applicantconsortium chooses to design the proposal. Total requested funding is in the order of 170 - 430 million SEK.

Important dates

Opening, closing and decision dates are preliminary and not yet formally decided by the IHI office in Brussels. The call for proposals takes place in two stages. First, your international consortium applies with a project description via the EU application portal. The winning proposal and its consortium then write a full proposal together with the industry consortium in spring 2026.
