What is the offer about?
In the project "A new recipe for school meals", several authorities and organizations work together to make the entire system around school meals sustainable for the future - from production and procurement of food to children's health, learning and participation. The vision is that all children in Sweden should receive good and sustainable school food.
Municipalities are now given the opportunity to apply to participate in the project as development environments for sustainable school meals. The participating municipalities receive support in working across activities with everything from the local business community to the students' meal environment and learning about sustainable eating habits. They also receive support in working with innovation to find solutions to today's challenges.
The experience from the work can then be used to give all municipalities in Sweden the opportunity, with school meals as a tool, to approach the global sustainability goals in Agenda 2030 and other sustainability and food strategies.
