The strategic innovation programme, Process industrial IT and automation (PiiA), contributes to the development and use of automation and digitalisation within industry. The parties carry out ventures and activities to meet the challenges within innovation and collaboration. All the application opportunities within the venture are listed here.

Sweden must be world leading in automation technology

In 2022, Sweden must be a recognised world leader for development and use of innovative and competitive solutions within process industrial IT and automation.

Several Swedish companies already have world leading positions within the field, in developing, delivering, integrating and using automation technology. This has happened through a developed collaboration between research, development and innovation environments, world-leading supply companies and world-leading process industries.
