Checks for innovation procurement 2023 - sustainability, resilience and security

This call is aimed at contracting organisations that are in need of external expertise in connection with innovation procurement. The grant can also finance access to external infrastructure to test, verify and validate new solutions. Projects should promote development and implementation of innovative solutions that significantly contributes to sustainability, resilience or security. Total budget is four million SEK and decisions are made on an ongoing basis.

What can you apply for?

Projects should contribute to sustainability, safety or resilience. Grants are available to: 1) create capacity for innovation procurement, 2) produce decision material for an innovation procurement or 3) improve an ongoing innovation procurement.

Who can apply?

Contracting authorities, ie those that are subject to procurement legislation.

How much can you apply for?

Grant size depends on which alternative you choose. For alternative 1 and 2: a maximum of SEK 200,000 and for alternative 3: a maximum of SEK 400,000. All grant funds must go to external fees and charges.

Important dates

In this the offer we assess applications on several occasions. Therefore, we have divided the application period into several application periods. This means that if you submit your proposal before the last day of an application period, you will have it assessed in connection with that date. But you can submit your proposal at any time before the last application date. The timeline shows the application periods that are closest in time.     How to apply

    To apply for funding, you need to log in and complete an application form in our eServices portal. The application form contains questions about your project, the participants taking part in the project and your budget.

    Please allow enough time

    Keep in mind that it takes time to make a proposal. You can start filling in information, save and continue at a later time. Therefore, start proposal well in advance.

    When proposal is ready, you mark it as ready. You can fully unlock proposal and make changes at any time, right up until the next reading opportunity or last application date. If you unlock proposal, you must then clear it for it to be registered again.

    This happens when the call for proposals is closed

    At each reading occasion, the applications are registered with Vinnova. A confirmation is sent out by e-mail to you who are responsible for the user account as well as to project manager and company signatory/head of department.

    If you have not received a confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours of a reading session or when the call for proposals has closed, please contact us.

    When the call for proposals is closed, you cannot change or fill in any new information. Then you can only supplement your proposal if we ask for it.
