What is the offer about?

Swedish industry has the potential to lead the transition to sustainability, both within and outside the country's borders. Vinnova wants to strengthen Swedish players' opportunities to participate in Horisont Europas calls in the area of Sustainable industry.

With this call for proposals, we want to finance planning projects for Swedish actors so that they can turn their project ideas into competitive applications for the Horisont Europas work program.

Horisont Europa, the EU's new framework program for research and innovation, which started in January 2021, aims to combat climate change, contribute to meeting the goals of sustainable development, and increase the EU's competitiveness. Participation in Horisont Europa can provide conditions for Swedish organizations to strengthen their positions in the global innovation front, and thereby achieve a critical mass to drive the industry's transformation through collaboration with other European actors

The announcements and "topics" within Horisont Europa that will be relevant will be published in connection with the announcement opening. The topics covered in Vinnova's area Sustainable industry are judged to be mainly parts of clusters “Digital, Industry and Space”, but also clusters “Climate, Energy and Mobility” and “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment”, within pillar 2 “Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness”.
