Important results from the project

The aim of this project was to give Intellego knowledge of how a chemical indicator can be coupled with an electronic system e.g. an mobile phone app or computer. This goal was achieved in part, and even if development continues, Intellego has a clear picture of how development is going to be done and how Intellego will reach the final product. Without this knowledge gain, Intellego could not have begun the development of the electronic system nor had it understood what is required during the development.

Expected long term effects

The result of the project was that Intellego was helped to develop its electronic indicator systems and knowledge of what it takes to carry out the development and further development of the electronic system. Intellego would also provide a prototype of the system which Intellego succeeded with. Intellego can now continue the development and start implementing the electronic system throughout its product catalog. This will result in Intellego being able to open new market areas with new customers. Intellego has already begun the commercial discussions with potential customers.

Approach and implementation

The project had the following structure and implementation: 1. Preliminary study how to do the practical work 2. Performance / Prototype Production 3. Verification of prototype The project was implemented according to plan and the result, developing a prototype, was met. Several new issues have arisen during the development which showed that the development of a final product will require resources and time but is fully possible.
