Purpose and goal
Proposal refers to the preparation of the EU proposal for the European Innovation Council´s accelerator program. BrainLink AB is based in Gothenburg and develops an implant for diagnostics of brain pressure where there is a great clinical need for the disease hydrocephalus (water skull), stroke and traumatic brain injury.
Expected effects and result
The planning project refers to the basis for grants (EIC Accelerator) regarding the development of an implant (hardware) and service (software) for wireless brain pressure measurement from TRL 6 to TRL 9.
Planned approach and implementation
The planning project aims to explain the need for the technology as well as the value of our solution for patients and the healthcare system. The planning project will also aim to determine the regulatory plan up to product approval and to define markets.
