Important results from the project

The project identified MNEs with advanced Science Based Targets & influential climate scientists as well as B) Relevant themes for collaboration. On 29/10 in SG a WS was organized with 35 participants with the conclusion: Future phase 2 work needs to be changed to make WS productive to inspire companies to implement sustainability from a dynamic innovation perspective. Therefore, BuS in CH can do NEW outreach to a selection of above all end users & multipliers. This work will replace a CH WS.

Expected long term effects

In phase 2 (in comparison to phase 1), the focus will change & connect end users with concrete, multiple transition needs for more sustainable solutions & companies that can deliver these solutions. Phase 2 work will in this way better support the goal of inspiring companies to implement sustainability from a dynamic innovation perspective & not a static innovation agenda. We hope this creates more demand-driven, implementable sustainability innovations that create a faster green transition.

Approach and implementation

Part 1 of phase 1 was conducted via interviews with companies, academia & innovation agencies. Part 2 of phase 1 incl. a WS in SG on 29/10 where participants presented innovation ideas where collaboration is welcomed. During WS, it was identified that phase 2 focus needs to connect end users w. transition needs with companies that can deliver these solutions. Phase 2 will in this way better support the goal of inspiring companies to implement sustainability from a dynamic innovation perspective.
