Coordinator FAMILJENS JURIST I SVERIGE AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 2 000 000
Project duration November 2018 - April 2020
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

Familjens Jurist has developed a digital web tool to help private individuals to build a web-based inventory without the help of a lawyer by providing a user-friendly and educational digital service that results in a qualitative end product.. The digital solution will also allow for transparent pricing and a lead to lower price than traditional legal services in general. The aim is to enable needed legal assistance to many who do not have access today and promote economic equality in a very critical situation.

Expected results and effects

Legal barriers have resulted in difficulties for automatic transfer of structured data from banks and the Swedish Tax Agency in the current situation. The effect is that the end user needs to do more manually work on register heirs and financial information than was intended. With regard to other stakeholders who, through collaboration, can create added value for the customer through additional sales services, the interest has been vast. Among other things, collaboration agreements have been discussed with real estate brokers, storage platforms and insurance analysis companies.

Planned approach and implementation

The project began with investigations of market and legal conditions and delimitations. Subsequently, the project team has developed specifications over user interfaces and developed a business model. In parallel, the development of the technical platform has taken place where it also enables more integrations going forward. Finally, a first working prototype has been developed and launched for testing, where people have been given the opportunity internally to submit comments and adjustments that have continuously adjusted in the platform.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
