Purpose and goal
The goal of this planning phase was to identify existing needs / problems / challenges. We have addressed this carefully and put together a group with both the problem owners and parties interested in commercialising the results . During the analysis we found that the effort is in conjunction with the introduction of EU energy efficiency directive at, among others Boverket directly sets a parameter for cost efficiency which we address with this contest.
Results and expected effects
We have verified that the contest is relevant and covers an important area and that there are stakeholders who are willing to participate, both from the problem owners and parties interested in commercialisation. The expected effect of arousing interest around the competition has been clear and we have had no problems with finding stakeholders.
Approach and implementation
We carried out the project based on our plan to use workshops and then frequent discussions with stakeholders and others. Our mailings yielded good results and we have a good foundation in that we will conduct the contest during the fall of 2014.
