Important results from the project

Our objective is to initiate a long-term behavioral change among consumers with good intentions to transform their healthy eating. It is about a dialogue with the trade to contribute to the consumer being able to receive good advice on healthy and also sustainable food choices based on transparency and the consumer´s personalized purchase data. The goal will take time to achieve, but we believe that with this project we have achieved a thought-provoking and good dialogue with the target groups.

Expected long term effects

The prototype etc. on our website - link below, is a good start for further dialogues with consumers, trade and organizations. For Awaresome this project have opened up for possibilities of a food experiment where we collect a large number of consumers´ purchasing data to show the trade and a selection of consumers how healthy and sustainable they shop. We believe that in the long term this can contribute to more healthy and sustainable foods being launched and becoming successful.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into four work packages (WP). WP 1 focused on budget, schedule and communication. WP 2 developed the speculative design concept for the prototype. WP 3 created a user interface. WP 4 built and tested the prototype on the target groups, which provided good input for adaptations. Communication has mainly taken place via PR and digital channels. During the project, an experimental film was added to create additional interest at the vernissage and after the project ends.
