Purpose and goal
During the project, the commercial and technical conditions for a synchronized multi-channel lock-in system developed over several years at the University of Stockholm in order to perform experiments in which several small electrical signals need to be measured synchronously, have been verified. The base for the further commercialization of the system has been laid.
Expected results and effects
The technology, market and business idea was verified and a commercialization strategy including IP protection, production and sales channels have been developed. Based on this, a company, SynkTek AB, was started to continue the commercialization process.
Planned approach and implementation
The verification was conducted with potential customers in industry and research. After a market research criteria for a demonstration prototype (minimum viable product) were defined. Regulatory requirements were investigated and applied to build a prototype that was then used to test the measuring system to potential customers and to verify the technology and regulatory requirements.
