Purpose and goal
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project has been to verify that a previously patented method for ventilation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation can be implemented in a mobile and practically useful device for ambulance use. This has been done and evaluated preclinically with good results. The study has been published in the journal Resuscitation, which has paved the way for the productization of our innovation.
Expected results and effects
The main result of the project is that we have had our patented method preclinically verified and that we have manufactured a demonstrator for the intended product.
Planned approach and implementation
The project has been conducted in close collaboration between the Department of Control Engineering at Lunds Universitet and Igelösa Life Science AB. Staff, (senior, doctoral student, degree worker) from the department have worked at Igelösa Life Science´s research facility to develop and verify a concept prototype. The interdisciplinary discussion that has arisen has been to the benefit of the project and has led to an in-depth continued collaboration between the project parties.
