Important results from the project
The project has developed the first industrial prototypes of fully sustainable packaging items based on a combination of sustainable cutting-edge chemistry (OrganoClick), coating technology (Nordic Barrier Coating), and DMF (PulPac). Barrier performance has been confirmed through internal testing. PulPac’s in-house tests were used to develop and validate the initial demonstration products.
Expected long term effects
The results of the project will contribute to the transition towards a circular and bio-based society. We have demonstrated that it is industrially feasible to combine green barriers with PulPac’s DMF technology, enabling the development of new products with sustainable and environmentally friendly properties.
Approach and implementation
The project has been carried out in close collaboration between the partners. We have held regular meetings where progress and challenges have been discussed. The partners have supported each other within their respective areas of responsibility. The exchange of knowledge has enabled process adjustments and contributed to the overall success of the project.
