Important results from the project
Purpose: Through an innovative product ensure quality verification of geometric dimensions on produced parts. Goal: Enable Swedish manufacturing industry to increase its efficiency and through our expansion contribute to its increased competitiveness.
Expected long term effects
Study of selected industrial articles in a computer simulation environment was conducted with great success, which also indicated that complex environments with a large variety of geometric quantities was possible to verify.
Approach and implementation
Technique: 1. A summary of the potential problem aspect were produced 2. Theoretical studies on possible solutions was performed by computer simulations 3. Consolidation based on engineering study that could indicate what kind of problems that we could apply our technology. Business Perspective: 1. Identification of customer problems 2. Negotiate with customers to carry out joint work in projects 3. Take the first steps ahead to see what opportunities are available to run live tests in prod. environment.
