The aim of the project has been to update the Lightweight Agenda in 2022. We update our strategic research and innovation agenda every three years. This is the third time we have updated it. The results are: 1. Long environmental report in Swe/Eng 2. Short environmental report in Swe/Eng 3. Printed brochure about the Lightweight Agenda in Swe/Eng 4. Digital Lightweight Agenda in Swe/Eng 5. Film about the importance of lightweight for resource efficiency 6. Film about LIGHTer Academy and LIGHTer PhD Network 7. Film about the importance of lightweight for sustainable growth 8. Four different inputs to: - a European research agenda on lightweight - a Eureka call on lightweight - the 3rd meeting European Lightweighting Network in Stockholm 8-9 June 2023 - Impact Innovation

Approach and implementation

The project began with an extensive externally procured strategic analysis that described the role of lightweight in the transition towards sustainability. Intensive discussions were held in the working group for the update of the Lightweight Agenda, in both the LIGHTer Board and Management Group, in workshops and in the network at large. An external process manager and an external communicator stitched the bag together and wrote texts that were constantly re-connected and rewritten. A communications agency made the digital Lightweight Agenda and three associated films.
