Funding from Vinnova SEK 300 000
Project duration December 2013 - June 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

Boddi Communication AB has changed its name to Tinitell AB. The purpose of the Vinn Nu stipend was to improve the outlook from these four areas: 1. Market 2. Product Devlepment 3. IP 4. Network Service Providers Thanks to Vinn Nu, we have been able to prepare the company for our soft launch on Kickstarter. This has required that we organize our IP protection, talk to production units, and begin conversations with our customers, network service providers. We now have all that we need to become a successful and internationally geared European company.

Results and expected effects

1. Market We have analyzed the demand for Tinitell via a product launch on Kickstarter. 2. Product Development We have chosen a supplier in Shenzhen, Kina. 3. Patent We have protected Tinitell with a design patent, trademark, and have a patent pending on an invention regarding our network configuration. 4. Network Service Providers We have been in touch with Network Service Providers from around the world. Effects: We have money, customers, and a production strategy. With our current momentum we can develop Tinitell and sell it to a global market.

Approach and implementation

We planned on spending the Vinn Nu stipend on IP protection and business development. We have created material with which we have researched the needs with our customers (both end-customers and network service providers), and we have used the same material to analyze production possibilities with technology suppliers. We also managed to secure our IP protection before we launched on Kickstarter.
