Purpose and goal

Reach for Change Toolkits improve conditions for social innovation through dissemination of tools to support social enterprises to develop effective, sustainable and scalable solutions, thus contributing to Agenda 2030. The tools have been designed to: 1) leverage the expertise of the corporate sector; 2) Suit SEs with limited business experience and/or skills; and 3) Build upon each other so that solution, business model and scaling strategies are aligned.

Expected results and effects

The project has generated quality tools validated by external expertise within the areas of financial sustainability, impact measurement and scaling. Included are tools and information on how to integrate gender equality, climate and children’s rights in business development. The work has been conducted through shared learning, feedback loops and in collaboration with intermediaries and external experts. The tools launched in December and will be shared ongoing via internal and external channels.

Planned approach and implementation

The use of Human Centered Design principles allowed Reach for Change to work iteratively during the project and has resulted in tools which are anchored with Social entrepreneurs and validated through collaborations and shared learning processes internally and externally. These processes have also resulted in improvements of internal processes and ways of working. The online Toolkits launched in December 2020, will be integrated in our incubator in 2021 and shared on-going via internal and external channels.
