Coordinator SENIONLAB AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 113 902
Project duration June 2014 - January 2015
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose was to allow a group of experienced people to analyze the market for our solution, as seen from a new perspective. The group has both verified the information we ourselves have produced in the past, but also produced new information, finding new applications and defined a new market vertical that we have previously not been established within. A further goal has been to develop a concrete plan for how the company can be established on the US market. The group having extensive experience in the local market has described an establishment process in the resulting business plan.

Results and expected effects

The goal was to analyze which markets are most lucrative and which offer SenionLab shall provide in these markets. The outcome was a solid business plan that will now be executed by the company during 2015. One result is that the company has established contact with a major player in a market verticals, and after completion of the project also received one first order. It is very likely that more orders will come, due to the participation at the GAP program.

Approach and implementation

Two persons from the company attended two meetings at UCLA in Los Angeles, where we have been working together with the student group. At the first meeting we defined the task and at last the group presented their results. During the five months between the physical meetings the company´s representative met with the student group via web meetings. The physical meetings at UCLA were very well organized and the time was perceived as very well spent. These meetings were also an opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs and advisors from California.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
