Create a growth strategy paln for IQF Frost (now OctoFrost) expansion in US.
Expected long term effects
We didn´t really know what to expect but we have highlighted some interesting areas where to look deeper. The conclusion of the group was that we should invest more in sales activities and that it should pay off. If it didn´t we could with reasonable cost reduce the organization again. Now we se that the view in the report was a bit more optimistic than reality but the work did bring in a better view of the industry and the market. We could see that the
Approach and implementation
The work started with an industry and competitor analysis which showed to be pretty challenging since there is no industry organization that fits our business and there are no competitors with similar focus only. They also visited our customers. Travels were made in US but also to South America and Sweden. The plan and execution was professionally and well done. The group was motivated, driven and with showed intelligent individuals. Challenging was lack of industry experience.
