Important results from the project
The purpose was to find Brazilian partners for common R&D activities This was achieved to a great extent and the discussions continued when we come back to Sweden and at meetings organised at Vinnova and at the Academy of Engineering in Stockholm.
Expected long term effects
It was surprisingly easy to discuss with the persons we met and present research and goals for the different groups. However, the natural conditions, climate and socioeconomic conditions are very different so there will be a Swedish vs a Brazilian touch on the project we discussed.
Approach and implementation
The visit was conducted by visits in Recife, Brasilia, Florianopolis and Sao Paulo. Travels between the cities was done in the evening so there were quite short nights between the meetings and demonstrations. However this was worked out nicely and fruitfully.
