Purpose and goal

TRUST6G strengthens Sweden´s expertise in trustworthy and secure AI-native 6G through an inbound mobility exchange between Mid Sweden University and Nanyang Technological University. Professor Dusit Niyato will visit MIUN to advance research and knowledge transfer in AI-native 6G, edge intelligence, and federated AI. The project includes seminars, workshops, and industry engagement, building long-term Sweden–Singapore collaboration in trustworthy AI and future AI-native 6G systems.

Expected effects and result

The project will strengthen Sweden´s expertise in trustworthy and secure AI-native 6G through knowledge transfer, seminars, workshops, and research collaboration. Expected outcomes include enhanced research capacity, stronger international partnerships, new joint research initiatives, and increased engagement with Swedish industry. The project also lays the foundation for future Vinnova and EU proposals and long-term Sweden–Singapore collaboration.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will be implemented as an inbound mobility exchange in which Professor Dusit Niyato visits Mid Sweden University. Activities include seminars, workshops, technical discussions, supervision, and joint research planning in AI-native 6G, edge intelligence, and federated AI. Results will be disseminated to researchers, students, academic and industrial stakeholders, and used to support future research and innovation projects.
