Important results from the project
The project aimed to spread knowledge about the Swedish ATMP ecosystem to various actors in South Korea and to gain knowledge about their ecosystem in order to create connections. This was done by presenting as part of the official program and participating in two panel discussions. An important objective was to try to formalize the collaboration during the trip, which was realized through a collaboration agreement signed between CCRM Nordic, RMAF and CARM during the conference.
Expected long term effects
The long-term effects of the MoU are increased collaboration between Swedish and South Korean actors. This is expected to result in collaborative projects and investments. The agreement covers the following areas: 1. Joint planning and identification of international R&D projects 2. Promotion of technology commercialisation and collaboration initiatives 3. Organisation of joint symposia to strengthen cooperation and knowledge sharing 4. Development and exchange of educational programmes
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out according to plan as participants at the BioKorea conference and planning for it in close collaboration with the Business Swedens team and staff at the embassy in Seoul.
