Purpose and goal
The aim of the project was to gain more knowledge about Eurostars projects and the application process. The aim of the trip was to gather enough knowledge to make decisions about whether GeccoDots is ready to apply for a Eurostar funding in 2015. The project filled well its purpose.
Results and expected effects
After the matchmaking event in Amsterdam GeccoDots management decided to wait until 2016 before committing to a Eurostar application. It is from a strategic point of view important to first spend time and resources on identifying the right partners for such a project in order to reach a substancial commercial development in GeccoDots by Eurostar financed project.
Approach and implementation
This project was carried out at a Eurostar information meeting in Amsterdam where participants were engaged in briefings and partnering meetings. After the meeting GeccoDots´ attteendees reported what the various meetings gave in novel information and they further concluded that GeccoDots is not ready to seek a Eurostar funding in 2015, rather more likely during 2016.
