Important results from the project
The visit to Forest Innovation Summit provided important insights into the current situation and development in the forest industry, not least through AI penetration, both from invited speakers and networking and discussions with other participants. Furthermore, presentations for Venture Capital actors resulted in continued dialogues.
Expected long term effects
Expected results from the visit mainly concern the opportunity to attract additional capital for the company´s expansion as well as industry contacts with companies within our most interesting application areas related to waste heat at low temperatures.
Approach and implementation
We followed a programme planned by Svensk-Amerikanska Handelskammaren /Nordic Innovation House in San Francisco. Monday was the start-up and networking with other participants and invited guests. Tuesday and Wednesday the Forest Innovation Summit conference was held focused on development in the forest industry. Thursday was a visit to a large forest player in redwood trees with a sawmill and in the evening we presented to selected investors. Under Fredagen continued presentations for investors.
