Important results from the project

We achieved the objectives we had set for the project - to learn more about the South Korean stem cell market, and to meet relevant stakeholders who could become future partners. We have a better understanding of the regulations, which actors we should interact with and how the local market works. We have also made contact with researchers, doctors, organizations and companies that can help us enter the South Korean market.

Expected long term effects

We hope and believe that the project can lead to Cellcolabs establishing itself in the South Korean market - either through joint research projects with local actors or through sales. This brings us closer to our mission - to make mesenchymal stem cells accessible to everyone.

Approach and implementation

We attended the Bio Korea 2025 biotechnology conference, and it went as planned. We attended relevant lectures, presented Cellcolabs, had meetings scheduled with potential partners, and networked with the other companies exhibiting at the conference. We also managed to visit two clinics that could become potential customers. The setup and schedule went as planned, and the collaboration with Business Sweden and our contacts at the conference went as planned.
