Purpose and goal
The main objectives of the visit are to network with semiconductor and PCB manufacturing companies in the region and Europe as a whole, with the aim of creating a European network for the production of flexible PCBs. This is to reduce dependence on Asia and environmentally problematic technologies, and instead create a green, resilient European alternative.
Expected effects and result
Expected results are increased collaboration and networking activities with industry leaders in the central European region. This should culminate in prototype productions, deeper mutual understanding of requirements and available solutions and a joint strategy going forward on a commercial and development basis.
Planned approach and implementation
According to the program set by OpenTech for the Swedish delegation to Austria and EBSCON: • Participation at EBSCON conference on 8th October 2025 • Study Visits to selected Silicon Alps members on 9th & 10th October 2025 • Netowrk dinner at Villach with Photonics Austria (9th October 2025)
